Lee Rouse is currently the East Baton Rouge Parish Horticulture agent for the LSU AgCenter. Previously, Lee work as the Agent in Orleans Parish, working hand in hand with the urban and micro farmer.  In 2013 Lee graduated LSU with a Bachelor’s of Science from the college of Agriculture. While working for the AgCenter, Lee has worked extensively with urban farmer while conducting Master Gardener Training classes. He has had more than 150 people go through his program.  He has participated in the development of the annual Farm to Table conference in New Orleans since 2014, while aiding the expansion of urban farming and community gardening in South Louisiana. Currently, you can ready Lee’s gardening columns in the Baton Rouge Advocate every Friday, and list to his radio show, Bayou Gardens on WRKF on Saturday Mornings.  You can follow Lee on Facebook and Instagram @rouses_horticulture.
